HOW WE CALCULATE PERCENTAGES

1) ** We use the grams on the product’s “Nutrition Facts” label for all calculations. **

2) We do NOT use the “Calories” or the “% Daily Value”.

3) For the “Protein”, “Fats and Oils”, and “Fiber” categories, we divide the number of grams of each category by the total number of grams in a serving.

4) For the “carbs other than fiber, plus everything else” category, we subtract the number of grams in the “Protein”, “Fats and Oils”, and “Fiber” categories, along with any other non-carb items listed, from the total number of grams in a serving. Then, we divide the result by the total number of grams in a serving.

5) All percentages are rounded off to the nearest whole percentage.
